it came out in 2005
im thinking about buying it, is this a good system? im mainly just going to use it for school, internet, and music, what do you think would bee a good price for it?
The specs you give would be for a Powerbook, not a Macbook. It may be great for what you are doing, but it is now as much as 5 years old since introduction. Any price must be considered in terms of vendor reliability and reputation, guarantee, condition, upgrades, original OS disk included, software included, possibility that it will fail and the cost to fix it could be higher than the value. I doubt it would be worth upgrading it now.
You should try to get a case thrown in, since it will go to school with you. Don't drop it! Mine was dropped and it would have cost at least $600 to fix. I sold it for parts.
