It's a Wonderful Life!
Nothing says the holidays like Jimmy Stewart in the 1946 film It's a Wonderful Life. Bring your friends and family Downtown to view this classic movie on the big screen Thursday, Dec. 1 at United Artists Theatre for only $5. Also enjoy a silent auction filled with Downtown goodies. In the spirit of giving, you'll definitely earn your "angel wings!" All proceeds will benefit Downtown Beautification, helping to keep your city clean, green and vibrant!
Big Ten Football Championship
Check out the recently re-opened Georgia Street as it is transformed into a Tailgate Party Dec. 3 leading up to the Big Ten Football Championship game at Lucas Oil Stadium. Eat, drink and be merry with your team's fans at dedicated Legends and Leaders restaurant locations. Restaurants include, but are not limited to Slippery Noodle Inn, Scotty's Brewhouse and Harry & Izzy's. More than 200,000 square feet of the Indiana Convention Center will become the Big Ten Fan Fest presented by Dr. Pepper Dec. 3. The exhibit will feature interactive games, entertainment, including special guest appearances and mascots, performances by participating teams' bands, giveaways, food and beverages and much more!

Hang your stocking Downtown
Downtown offers several wallet-friendly ways to celebrate the holidays. It is hard to miss the festive décor on Monument Circle, including 52 larger-than-life sailors, soldiers and peppermint sticks. The Circle of Lights® presented by the Contractors of Quality Connection and Electrical Workers of IBEW 481 centerpiece was illuminated for the 49th time Nov. 25. This display, which includes 4,784 lights on 52 garland strands, can be seen through the New Year.
Lace up and glide into the month of December by bringing the family to Skate with Santa at the Indiana/World Skating Academy Dec. 3 from 1:30 - 3:30 p.m. Enjoy the performance of Christmas at the Puppet Studio Dec. 10 - 22 & 27 at Peewinkle's Puppet Studio.
