Has anybody ever had their pocket picked in Mexico in a nightclub?
Years ago my marine buddys and me went to a place south of Yuma called pigalle. It is in mexico. It was bunch of bars located outside of the town of San Luiz. We were told not to take wallets and keep our IDs in our shoe. I took a 10 dollar bill buttoned in my shirt pocket. I was young and dumb. A mexican Lady came up to me in a dark bar. She began to hold me close and she told me she wanted to have my babys. She was older than me by far and I told her politely no thank you and I walked out and down to the next bar. I ordered a drink and when i went to pay I unbuttoned my shirt and NO 10 dollar bill! She had lifted my money and I did not have a clue. Had to borrow some money to pay for the beer. It was fun! That was my border town story do yall have one?
That can happen anywhere in the world.
I was on a train to Rome and someone took my backpack, stole my money, camera, nike sunglasses and some other not so valuable stuff.
I talk to a police man in the train and they found my backpack on the next sleeping car.

The story revolves around Blake Washburn, a mildly leftist newspaperman, played by Jeffrey Lynn. Returning to his home town, Washburn turns his journalistic vitriol upon the local business interests. Only after his kid sister Katie (Melinda Plowman), trapped in a cave-in, is rescued by locally produced technology, does Washburn realize the value of the capitalistic system. Home Town Story was fitfully distributed by MGM, then lapsed into obscurity.
