How can I make good hands for my stop motion model?

I am basing my model mainly on Victor from Tim Burtons Corpse Bride and am having trouble with making hands.

If you don't have access to latex and aren't comfortable with mold making, simply molding them out of plastecine should be fine. If you want to make them really thin and you're worried using about them not being able to stay in position on their own, you can sue a thin gauge wire (1/16" or even smaller) to use as armature on which you mold your hands.
