He is a well known lover of music and it features prominently in many (if not all) of his works. But if I had to think of one song that I personally associate with him it would be Come On Mary (Don't Fear the Reaper) by Blue Öyster Cult.
He deals mostly with the common fears of life (imprisonment, darkness, rats, ghosts, death, infectious disease, getting lost, etc...) as well as the legends from our history and past (vampires, werewolves, monsters, fog, etc...) Any song that deals with fears of the unknown and that sort of thing ought to do. That's why I gave my suggestion.
