Muay Thai is from Indochina and it is a popular form of martial arts. Over the years, it has become very popular in the South Pacific. As for today’s Muay Thai, it is typically a ring sport with gloves that resemble boxing gloves in the west. Muay Thai is a common part of mixed martial arts training as well and many MMA trainers now use Muay Thai bags in their facilities.

The main idea behind Muay Thai is that you have eight different body spots that you can use to attack an opponent. The hands and feet make up four and the other four are made up by savage attacks from the elbow and knee.

The bag falls into the standard weight range categories as most heavy boxing bags do. On average, most Muay Thai bags are at least eighty pounds; making them ideal for extreme fighters, as well as lots of kicks and punches.
