3 Nasty Adsense Mistakes and What You Need To Know
Even if you're new to Internet marketing you know how important correct website monetization can be. Yes there are plenty of ways that you can achieve this goal but AdSense is still the number one choice for most. As a Google AdSense publisher you are supposed to follow the terms of service to the letter or Google will ban your account. There are a few mistakes that you can easily avoid to make sure this doesn't happen and in the following article we shall be exploring 3 such mistakes. You must avoid these mistakes if you wish to be successful at authority marketing.
It is not okay to say that Google Ads are alternate ads. Chitika and other programs like it give users the freedom to choose and place alternative URLs when targeted ads are not displayed. To do this with those programs just make an HTML page and put the ad that you want to be displayed on it instead. AdSense is the same in this regard and will allow you to choose an alternative URL when you do not want to show public service ads. The mistake that you need to avoid is using the AdSense ads as your alternative URLs. The Google TOS says that this is not allowed.
You also need to remember that you do not need to have more than one AdSense account if you want to serve ads on more than one site. This means that you only need one account to generate codes even if you have as many as ten different websites.
Most webmasters are afraid that they will be banned from the program if they have more than one site being serviced by the same account but the exact opposite is true. If the powers at Google find out that you have many access accounts then they will close all of them down right away. Don't worry about how you will manage your different sites; you can use Adsense channels to track your clicks and to access your real-time data.
Last but not the least; you shouldn't place your ads on pages like your registration page, "thank you" page, or any other page that doesn't have relevant content. Let's just face it: advertisers only want to spend money on ads that will be put on pages that contain targeted content. This is good because the better your content the better your ads will be.
Unless (and until) your page has good content on it, don't put your ads up.
To conclude, this article clearly shows you that staying within the Google TOS when using AdSense on your site or blog is a good idea. In addition, you can clearly see that following these rules is easy and will help you earn even more money through ads.

Here is a tough-minded exploration of why we're in trouble, starting with the basic issues of who gets heard, who gets ignored, and why. Greider shows us the realities of power in Washington today, uncovering the hidden relationships that link politicians with corporations and the rich, and that subvert the needs of ordinary citizens. How do we put meaning back into public life? Greider shares the stories of some citizens who have managed to crack Washington's "Grand Bazaar" of influence peddling as he reveals the structures designed to thwart them. Without naiveté or cynicism, Greider shows us how the system can still be made to work for the people, and delineates the lines of battle in the struggle to save democracy. By showing us the reality of how the political decisions that shape our lives are made, William Greider explains how we can begin to take control once more. |
