Life Dvd
Help Needed in DVD-Writer Selection.?
Dear all,
I need your help in selecting a Long-life DVD-Writer, before this I did purchased three famous companies dvd-writers and they all fail within 1-2 years, i need a stable dvd-writer they all fail with the same problem.
1.) SAMSUNG (approx. 1.5 years) - cd reading but dvd failed.
2.) SONY (1-2 months) - totally failed.
3.) LG (Good One/ 1-2 years) - cd reading but dvd failed.
SO Now i'm again going to market for purchasing a new one, please guy's & Geeks help me by rating ur dvd-writers & their good working duration, in finding a good quality & long-life dvd-writer.

Go with Lite-on, I have owned 9 lite-on drives and not one of them failed me. I still have my first (12 years old I think) CD-RW lite-on drive in my garage in an external USB 2.0 case (it worked so good I kept it). I don't have a rating system but I always buy lite-on drives. My laptop unfortunately came with a Sony Opti-arc (The crappiest drives on the planet) I have yet to upgrade it, but it stopped burning DVD's after the 4th disk. All I can tell you is try a lite-on drive you will not be disappointed.
