Disc Only
My disc drive make a loud noise and won't function when I insert the WoW Battlechest disc?
I went to reinstall WoW today and I inserted the disc only to find out that it only makes a loud buzzing noise, and my disc drive won't open after (i have to restart my computer). My disc drive can read other things like movies and such, this just seems to be happening with the WoW disc.
Any suggestions?
Check that the disc itself is clean, both top and bottom, it may be throwing the disc out of balance. That could be the noise.
Try the disc in another drive or computer.
If that doesn't work you'll have to contact Blizzard and obtain a new disc.
