This Video Can Teach you How to Play the Guitar
In the course of three years of learning to play, I have discovered several methods of finding guitar lessons on video.At first, there was the DVD set titled "Simply Guitar" that my husband purchased for me.Pressing buttons change the camera angles so I can always view the DVD very clearly. This was a very helpful feature in learning guitar lessons.Clearly seeing the video enabled me to strum along quite good with what is shown. Because it makes the process of forming the chords much simpler than looking at a chart alone, I was able to pick up the guitar and play several songs much more quickly.Perhaps this learning method is peculiar to me because I learn better with visuals. And I can read music so learning guitar-playing only required me to understand the techniques.
Many websites offer much more comprehensive boxed sets of DVDs for guitar lessons on video for all levels of skill.Such sets of boxed video lessons are most often comprehensive and detailed, best for those who have much time to learn guitar-playing at home.Guitar tablature or reading music are often additional features of these video lesson sets, since the features add better understanding of the techniques involved or taught. For a complete neophyte, such video lessons is the second-best method of learning the guitar, next to personal instruction via a teaching course or music school.

Guitar-playing certificates are granted by many schools and colleges to serious musicians, giving credits to lessons learned via the video. I this way, a more personalized instruction can be given a student by the instructor when difficulties arise.But it may be expensive to have personal instruction and coursework.
