After 20 years, comedian Yakof Smirnoff says 2012 will be his last season in Branson, Mo. (Washington Post)
BRANSON, Mo. — Comedian Yakov Smirnoff says 2012 will be his last full season
performing in Branson, Mo.
The 60-year-old comedian said in a news release Monday that he plans to tour
the U.S. in 2013 with his stand-up comedy show.
Next year will be Smirnoff’s 20th season performing the Yakov LIVE!
production. The Russian comedian became famous in the 1980s for his
observations about life in the United States.
