For hearing people: Do you ever miss Closed Caption/Subtitles when it's not there? Deaf/HOH can answer too,?

however, I mainly am looking for those who don't "need" it but simply like it or benefit from it.
For example, Netflix doesn't have CC/Subtitles and I couldn't turn the volume up as I didn't want to bother my roommate, so, I was missing a lot.
I used subs/CC whenever possible, even before I associated with Deaf people I used it.

I put subtitles on everything..My hearing is fine though.. I just like to know exactly what's being said without having my tv volume on 100. I love subtitles, i put them on everything i can.
