Listening to 5 minutes would help judging an opera rendition ???? Yes, probably that's the way it is at YA Classical.

My friend, I don't know the Nobodies of the 1996 version, maybe they are splendid actors and handsome faces, but the 1974 version by Karajan with Mirella Freni, Christa Ludwig and Placido Domingo made the history of this Puccini's opera. Nothing at that level appeared afterwards. I have it in the old VHS issue.
