Guests are able to explore the chambers of the pyramids, which are crafted out of two million two-ton blocks of limestone. It remains a mystery how these blocks were moved, only further adding to the mystery surrounding the ancient Egyptians.
The pyramids aren't the only sights that make Egypt famous. The Abu Simbel temples are a famous landmark. Located in the Nile River Valley, they were created almost three thousand years ago. These two temples were erected for honoring Ramses II and his beloved wife, Nefertiti. Nefertiti’s temple is also a tribute to the sun god, providing a glimpse into the mythology that so many are familiar with. Four monstrous statues stand guard in front of Ramses' temple, which definitely results in a spectacular sight. The Temple of Karnak, Saladin Citadel, and the West Bank are other famous sites that combine beauty with history in order to provide a unique adventure.
